Gufa Patal Hike - Enjoy the Mesmerizing view of Mt Kanchenjunga

Gufa locally translating to a cave is considered as one of the religious site for local Tamang communities. Often it is believed that Tamang guru's in ancient time used those cave for meditation away from hustle and bustle of a village life.

Gufa patal is also a view point that offers mesmerizing view of Himalayas and tea gardens. On a clear day one can observe a panoramic view of Mt Kanchenjunga (3rd highest mountain in the world) along with Mirik Lake and tea states in India.

The hike is about 3 hours from Shree Antu homestay as you hike through the villages observing the daily lifestyle of locals and understand their cultures.

You will be accompanied by a local English speaking guide who will assist you throughout the hike and brief you about the local lifestyle and cultures.
